Modernising the Wine bar
For this edition, the Sirha Wine Bar is offering a light-filled atmosphere to its customers, who are increasingly curious and demanding, with two spaces: wine tasting and food service, for one. Students from the Paul Bocuse Institute will pair together food and wine, and spotlight new designations from the region every day. And also, a conference and activities area, where many topics will be addressed, such as traceability, labelling and organic wines. Grape variety battles, speed dating with a sommelier, conferences on current topics will also be offered to visitors, and for the first time the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Young Sommeliers Contest will be organised by the Association of Sommeliers of Lyon and Rhône-Alpes and sponsored by Philippe Faure-Brac, MOF, best sommelier in the world in 1992 and president of the French Sommelier Union.
